Ellen Himic

Ellen Himic knew from the age of fifteen that she was destined to be an artist. Fascinated by small-scale sculpture, Ellen immersed herself in various art forms throughout her childhood. Her love of the arts led her to study different mediums at the esteemed Tyler School of Art, known internationally for its world-renowned professors and emerging technologies. It was through this intense education that Himic not only developed an incredible knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) but also cultivated extraordinary engineering abilities, enabling her to create unique snap-fit mechanisms, which would later become a beloved feature of her signature collection.

After graduating from the appraised program with numerous awards and accolades, Ellen spent several years as an apprentice to a widely respected jewelry craftsman. It was through that experience that she learned to harness present-day technologies of the jewelry industry and realized that combining this knowledge with her past training would be the perfect foundation for bringing her artistic creations to life.

Through the launch of her first namesake collection, Ellen Himic developed a brand that embodied everything she was passionate about as a designer.

The ability to combine her remarkable creative vision and inspiration with unparalleled technique and industry expertise has resulted in a one-of-a-kind collection that truly offers something for everyone. Her intricate pieces, created from precious and semi-precious metals and stones of the highest quality, include ornate details that allow the jewelry to be both bold and understated at once. The prior is just one of the many attributes that led the designer to receive the industry’s prestigious Rising Star award in 2010. After just a few seasons, Ellen Himic’s collection has already gained a loyal following, landed on the pages of celebrated magazines such as In Style and People Style Watch and adorned the stars of top television shows like Gossip Girl and The Real Housewives of New York.

Bridging the gap between contemporary and fine jewelry with ease, Ellen Himic proves that the right jewels can be both trendy and timeless, the mark of a true investment piece. With a variety of styles and price points to match any woman’s personality, “the one to watch” may be quite an understatement indeed.
